Ok - this will definitely be out of order but I must get blogging!!
Melissa, Andrew and Will leave GTMO heading for Sasebo Japan
Andrew worked in Public Works, Melissa was our church pianist and
the island music teacher!! Will came here 2 yrs ago with thumb constantly in
mouth and we have watched him grow and mature - sweet sweet boy!!!

NEX Fishing Contest

In conjunction with the NEX Appreciation weekend, they also had a
fishing contest....enjoy the pics below!!  We rented a boat and went to
Hicacel this same a.m. - just to beach comb....then came in just in time to
see all the measurements taken!!  I love being there at the marina and
watching!!

NEX Appreciation Weekend

NEX stands for Navy Exchange...well, once a year they have a Customer Appreciation weekend - lots of sales, prizes, vendors etc - and also a race this year.  It was a 5k (3.2 miles)...Lee and I participated, and also as you can see - several Public Works people did!! We had fun - altho got soaking wet as it rained on us the first mile or so - then it was nice and steamy hot!!!  FUN TIME!!
